: Opis.: SRA Soldering Products, a division of SRA Shops, formerly Stan Rubinstein Assoc., Inc. which has been in business since 1962. Stan Rubinstein ran the company out of the basement of his Massachusetts home. The company started selling solder paste to the jewelry and electronics markets. The company then expanded to sell solder wire, and eventually solder fluxes in the 1960’s. As time when on, the company moved out of Stan’s basement and into an office building in Foxboro, Massachusetts (Home of the New England Patriots). With the Costume jewelry capital of the world being in Rhode Island and also in Southeastern Massachusetts for most of the 20th Century, it was convenient to be located in its backyard. The company moved to a bigger location in Foxboro in 1990. The company began to have an online presence in 1996 through our own web site. In 1999 his son Randy joined the company. In 2001, Randy took over as President of the Company. However, around 2004 the jewelry industry began to move overseas for cheaper labor so SRA had to find different avenue to sell products in a shrinking domestic industry. In 2006 the Company struck a deal with Aoyue International Limited to be the sole North American authorized dealer of their solder equipment.  With expansion in mind, Randy started selling Ultrasonic Cleaners for jewelry in 2009. In 2011, a deal was made with a startup out of China called Korad Technology Company to become the sole North American distributor of their bench-top power supply equipment. Korad has grown into a recognizable brand in the bench-top power supply industry. In 2013 SRA struck up a partnership will Allendale Group, headquartered out of the UK, to sell their line of precision measurement tools as well as our line of aluminum cases and foam.  To go along with Allendale’s measurement tools we struck a deal with Moore and Wright, a reputable precision measurement company in the UK to introduce their products to the American market place. Due to expansion, SRA was forced to move to a much larger facility in the neighboring town of Walpole, MA down the street from Gillette Stadium where the company currently operates. SRA is also a full line distributor for MG Chemicals and Xuron Tools.
