It’s been a long love affair with leather for this family run business. Having learnt the leather craft from his shoemaker grandfather, and a number of years spent in India manufacturing leather goods and jewellery, Ofer, Oran Leather’s founder, decided this was his calling. Armed with a love of leather and an eye for design, Oran Leather was born in 2001.

Today Oran Leather is one of Australia’s leading wholesale leather goods companies, and for good reason. Oran Leather uses the highest quality, natural leather from some of the world’s oldest and best tanners in India, where the skills are passed down through the generations.

At Oran Leather we craft cutting edge, yet affordable and constantly changing classic pieces and fashion items. Our range includes ladies bags, men’s bags, luggage, business bags, folios, wallets, key rings, cardholders, pouches and small goods. In 2012 Oran Leather launched the Rugged Hide product line to compliment the existing designs. A range of unique, earthy products, this stylish selection speaks understated beauty and distinct individuality.

We are proud of our excellent craftsmanship, quality fittings and natural hide. Our goods are individually hand made, so no two pieces are identical, meaning each is a perfect match made just for you.

The Factories Which Oran Leather uses, which includes workers and management, is responsible for the management of the Fairtrade in accordance with Fairtrade standards.
Working conditions are equitable for all workers. Health and safety measures must be established in order to avoid work-related injuries.
Oran Leather strongly prohibits the use of under age workers when manufacturing our products and the same apply for working hours and working conditions.
